Hi, We went for an anniversary dinner and were surprised by the choices on the menu. Along with all the wonderful dishes, what we liked best were their fish and chicken dishes. The upper floor is for small parties and gatherings and can be especially noisy during the weekends (if there is a party going on). The candlenight ambience is great and is also a place where families can go. It's conviniently located next to Mainland China in GK II. The staff was very nice, especially the lady at the reception. This is also a great place for small kitty parties and they give good helpings. Go for a relaxed evening and it's ok for the prices that they charge. The place will set up back by about Rs 1200-1300 for two people including a drink each. Have fun Bimbita

Terrible Mexican food, if you do happen to find yourself dining here, go for the Mediterranean selection, its far better than the Mexican they offer. And what kind of a Mexican restaurant doesnt carry Guacamole at all times? Amigo!

We are just back from this place. The worst experience .....
We are just back from this place. The worst experience we had ever in our life in any of the restaurant we have went. The service was way toooo slow & the place was all messed up. The toilet was very dirty. And when v asked for the bill, they gave us a hand written bill. We are so disappointed & would like all not to go to this place & yes it is also damn expensive place.

went to amigo on a quiet tuesday night. it was really quiet out there. for the longest ours was the only occupied table in the restaurant. We had once been to amigo long back. in its new avatar, it was the first time. We were a trfle disappointed with the shift of the focus from a conventional mexican joint for we went there searching a great mexican meal. hoever it was just anoher one of those world cusines place. a mix of pasta / pizza / lebanese/ continental et all. Frankly the menu itself let us down a lot. We started with a vegetarian ceasar sald- which once arrived- revealed it contained EGG( in a vegetarian green dotted salad !!!). The appetisers were like designer foods- small small portions- big big prices. simply avoidable. Amongst the three main course dishes we ordered only the mezze platter was a saving grace for it was superb, rest all was just passe. The wwhole experience left a lot to be desired. i guess the very fact that it was so dull also added to our woes. The new management also needs to capture a few hospitality and service lessons.. for they form the basis of a restaurant business. summary- either avoid the place else go on a friday / saturday and then wrap up the evening at smoked house grill or kuki for an after dinner bonanza. Cheerio

Amigo is surely worth an occassional visit. I’d say once a month or so. Its major plus point that it is very true to its name. It Is actually authentic mexican as claimed.. So first up, the extremely polite staff welcomes you outside and guides you upto the seating area. The place itself is very tastefully and elegantly divided into a seating area and a lounge. There weren’t too many people there, but the place looked damn classy. The seating area itself is slightly less, the lounge located on the first floor. The only drawback was the dim lighting. I mean when you can’t read the menu, the place is dark ! That however was taken care of on request. But yes, a feel-good-factor was already there, and i looked forward to the meal. Reservations aren’t required. The place isnt exactly what i call hustling-bustling. The music volume is very tolerable, to the extent that i don’t really remember what the DJ was playing. On our way out, the manager asked us for suggestions to better the experience. Something quite unheard of at restaurants in Delhi. Oh and did i mention, there is vallet parking too. Thats an instantaneous pacifier after driving in Delhi traffic !
