We were in saket and wished to have some Indian food and we found Punjab Grill - a famous North Indian restaurant by culinary legend Jiggs Kalra. The restaurant has two sections - The inside section is air-conditioned & the terrace with mist fans. The interiors are nicely done with upholstery in beige, dark wood, red fabric lighting fixture.
The food is delicious and the menu has rich variety of both veg and non veg dishes. Dishes like Butter Chicken, Gucchi Pulao, Mutton biryani, Dal Makhani, tandoori duck, tandoori jhinga, salmon tikka and dahi ke kabab are some of my favorites.
The service is quick and prompt. The staffs are polite and pleasant.
It was overall an excellent experience. A must visit for food lovers who enjoy delicious North Indian food.

First of all thanks to team bitequest, who just called me up to tell that i have won the review contest...and i am so happy...this contest have motivated me to write more reviews for the members of this exclusive site....I booked few months back a table for 7 through bitequest at punjab grill citywalk for the occasion of my mom dads 25th anniversary and bitequest guys promised a discount of 10% as always they fulfilled their promise of not just the discount but also i had a readily available table for my family.....And what was even good about the deal was punjab grill's food and ambiance and their service...everything was just perfect...they had a prompt service and the food was just yummm!!!
the thing which i cant forget was the complementary PAN SHOT at the end...it was just out of the world...
so my take is 8/10 for this place and i ask the members to visit this place and that through bitequest because you'll get 10% discount and the table booked in advance...Cheers to the bitequest guys!!!

Even in the neutral décor of Punjab Grill, a glittering chandelier drops down from the swathes of maroon fabric on the ceiling. A bubble of conversation spills out onto the top floor of Select City Walk. Even on a mid-week night the restaurant was full, both inside and on the terrace.
Everything you’d expect – butter chicken, dal makhani, Pindi chana, sarson da saag and makke ki roti – is present, slightly tweaked and reimagined. The khaam khatai, a relative of the galauti kabab, reminds me that it was Jiggs who brought the now-trendy galauti to the notice of fine-dining establishments. The menu also reaches far beyond the Punjab’s five rivers with the salmon tikka (Rs 725), the signature tandoori duck (Rs 1050) and tandoori jheenga. Without the flamboyant fusion techniques of other haute Punjabi establishments (alcohol in your appetisers, anyone?), the Kalras’ innovations are backed by giant, pind-sized portions and authentic knowledge of the food on both sides of the border.
The starters are mostly barbeque productions, the vegetarian (Rs 525) and non-vegetarian (Rs 625) kabab platters allowing you to sample everything. The house specialty, murgh tikka Punjab Grill (Rs 390), was not strikingly original, though the creamy zeera-inflected flavours of the chicken tikka were good.
The Patiala shahi machchi (Rs 495) was avoidable. The marinade (dried plum and tomato) was deliciously tangy, but conflicted with the fishiness of the river sole itself. In contrast, the gucchi pulao (Rs 500), cooked on dum under the traditional pastry seal, was a work of artistic excess. The wrinkly ridged morels were stuffed with herb-and-zeera-notched milk cake, but they retained their own earthy, smokey chewiness even amidst the butter-laden rice. The entire thing could suffice as a meal for a family of four.
Desserts include Nutella- and chocolate-filled gulab jamuns, ambi panna di kulfi and phirni, the latter (Rs 150) much as all good creamy phirnis are. To finish off, two green shot glasses appeared: liquefied meetha paans, right down to the flicker of supari and gulkand.
so highly recommended....

Located in Select City Walk. This outlet grabbed my attention as its name appears at each and every corner of the mall "Punjab Grill by Jiggs Kalra" and it has been awarded by times food guide. So I decided to give it a try. They offer 2 types of sitting arrangements. One on the terrace and other a little congusted and have a open kitchen. We went for the buffet which was quite reasonable i.e. 525++ taxes. In buffet they offer a vast variety of Veg and Non Veg Food.Being a vegetarian I tried Veg items believe I was completely mesmerized by the food being offered.Dal Makhni was simply out of the world and biryani grabs ur attention fully,it was the best biryani I have ever eaten.
desserts simply blew u away.... mung dal halwa, gulab juman simply takes u to the heaven...
at last the complimentary pan shot was the icing on the cake....never ever tried such a unique thing.... in all a very good experience....

It was my wife's birthday. A special occasion. After a lot of deliberations and dilemma we decided to have the dinner at Punjabi Grill. Reason being 1) A new outlet in the city 2) Promoted by Jiggs Kalra, hence the cuisine has to be unique and different. We booked our table for 4 at 9.30 pm and reached there on dot. We were greeted by a girl standing outside the restaurant and very politelety told us to wait. We waited and we waited and upon enquiry we realised that our table booked still has guests and hence we have to wait some more. By now we were losing our patience as my elderly inlaws were with us to celebrate their daughter's birthday. It was quite late or else we would have walked out. After 20 minutes of agonising wait we were given a table. But that time our excitement for the dinner had gone.
The restaurant was cramped and people were talking in the top of their voice. The waiters were negotiating tables with trays on our heads and every time we were praying to God that the tray should not fall on us.
We had to call the waiter several times to order our food and very reluctantly he did.
We ordered a few drinks followed by the Non veg platter, one dal and one veg main dish and assortment of breads. Somehow we feel that the food was very ordinary. The only icing in the cake was the kulfi faluda.
They have to do something with their overall management or else Mr Jiggs Kalra is in trouble.
Not a place that we will visit a second time or worth recommending!!
