I visited Mainland China around 1 month back where one of my seniors hosted a lunch after a meeting. I must mention not only the food but also the ambiance is quite impressive. We were served with some assortments like Tofu and kimchi salad as staters which set the mood till the main course came in. The main course we ordered was Eggplant in black sauce, Asparagus and Thai red curry with Steamed rice which were a real delight even for a vegetarian who is a Chinese cuisine lover. The meal together with the hospitality and the tranquil dining was a different and a nice experience. It is proven by the fact that i visited it again last week, this time myself as a HOST.

I was a big fan of this reastaurant and a regular. It's been a couple of years since this branch of Mainland China has opened. I swore by its food till a few months back as the food was well worth its price. The dimsums, clay pot rice, tsing hoi chicken are few of the standard dishes which are safe.
But lately due to the change in staff or something the service has degraded and the food quality has also varied - for example I've ordered the Skewered lamb on 4 visits and each time the dish has varied - sometimes cold and uncooked as well.
I suggest one should skip going here on busy weekends.
So well, give it a try but definitely go in for the safer, more frequently made dishes.
The sizzling brownie is to die for.

"Authentic Chinese, as delectable as it can be for an Indian Tongue",
Mainland China offers wide range in the four course menu for both vegetarian and non-veg along with a flexible helping size that not only accomodates your budget but also your appetite. The fine oriental ambience along and a comfortably spaced seating makes it an ideal place for almost every occassion- romantic lunches, family dinners or corporate meals. The place offers five star experience, in three star prices.. The food speaks for itself and the bitequest discount adds the cherry on the cake!
