  • Nestled in the beautiful Garden of Five Senses, Fio is ideal Sunday brunch destination especially on a sunny winter afternoon. Great ambience and attentive staff adds to the charm of the place. The restaurant offers Italian and Indian cuisine. While the Italian food is scrumptious, the Indian food is passable rather they could do away with it. Don’t miss their thin crust, wood fired pizzas.

Review by:sandy Nov 13, 2011 Fio is a good restaurant both from location wise .....
  • Fio is a good restaurant both from location wise as well as from change perspective to make yourself feel relaxed in open air away from hustle bustle of city . It is just an average restaurant when it comes to the quality of food. In case of some food items it disappoints you as well. It pinches once you don't find the food upto your expectations. Outside sitting arrangement is not quite comfortable. Service must be given decent rating The beer drinkers don't have many varieties and also it's available only in Pint . There were four of us and we finally ended up paying around Rs. 7700 for 6 Pints, 4 small vodkas,2 starters(1 veg,1 non veg),1 veg and 1 non-veg main course dishes . Please look for some better place if you're expecting excellent food

Review by:sakshi Aug 04, 2011 Fio’s lantern-lit outdoor area is wrapped around a central trattoria-like .....
  • Fio’s lantern-lit outdoor area is wrapped around a central trattoria-like interior. To warm ourselves up , we asked for the Fio twist on a bloody mary (Rs 375; with jalapenos). This was no English cocktail; the insistent heat of jalapenos infused the tomato juice with a strong Mexican accent. The margarita (Rs 375; with cloves and peach) was passable, but didn’t cross any international frontiers. Fio’s menu is an Indo-Italian treaty, and we wanted to be fair to both parties, picking one from each side of the kitchen for each course. Italy’s delicate delegate was the gamberetti vino bianco (Rs 650), sweet, buttery prawns sautéed lightly with green chilli and garlic and splashed with white wine. But it was bested by India, which sent a mutton seekh makhmali (Rs 375), a “silky lamb minced kabab”. Round two was fought out between the Mozambique fish fillet (Rs 625) and a mutton curry (Rs 475). The batter-fried fish (unnamed, but of apparently African antecedents) was rather bland. We much preferred the champein aur nalli wala gosht (Purani Delhi-style mutton curry), with a lachha paratha (Rs 65). It wasn’t thrilling, but again the kitchen deserves a shout-out for the tenderness of the meat. We ended with a helping of cool, creamy Parsi Dairy kulfi (Rs 175). Fio’s food does not strive for complexity, and it is executed competently.
