  • At Chopsticks, which gets customers from the numerous events held at the Village Complex , is very cosmopolitan in character. I have always visited Chopsticks with my family, and we prefer eating Chinese dishes. Our most favourite is the mixed vegetable soup with fish, chicken and meat, called Talumien. We also go in for Chopsuay, Chowmien, Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken, Sweet-and-Sour Fish and Lamb Curry. Chopsticks has another unique feature. It has a revolving restaurant at the top most floor. A lift takes you there. Why not ? High quality food at a great height !

  • Soft drizzling raindrops on a lazy Sunday afternoon soft live music played even on request can only be complemented with piping hot delicious soup and a vast array of starters . The chicken dim sums were melt in the mouth and so was the satay. Good choice of sauces and dips to go with them. The veg dim sums not quiet as flavorsome. The associated unlimited drinks could be very tempting to vodka lovers but the peach tea and mint mojito can have some ingenuity added as undissolved sugar granules were evident. Soup was hot and delicious and satisfying. Main course had a good choice of veg and no veg dishes but with so many starters they loose the importance. Freshly made waffles and warmed brownies sinful to die for. An afternoon well spent.

Review by:NJ Nov 07, 2010 Decided to revisit an old time favourite after a very .....
  • Decided to revisit an old time favourite after a very long time. At a point of time, chopsticks was clearly the best restaurant in town. We went there on the weekend given that we were in the neighbourhood. After visiting that place, Charles Darwin's words came back to memory-Darwin Said and I quote “It’s not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the wisest, but the one that’s most responsive to change”. I just wish the owners of this famous restaurant group could have recognized this. They serve good hygienic food but it belongfs to two generations back. I just wish they would have adapted and eveolved the menu as per the widely prevalent upgradation of the food palates. Over the last few years, the food flavours/ and peoples preferences have changed. the menu selction still appeaars the same- the very manchaurian/ chilly chicken variety. Being vegetarians, we did not even have much of the choice, so Sweet Corn Soup, Some greens( that did nto even have morning glory), a very basic sschewan sauce dish was all we could muster the courage to have. Chopsticks has everything going for them, the location, the branding , parking ease but they just have to evolve. Do wish them luck but clearlyu i aint going there till such time, i hear a lot of more positive reviews.
