Regent Blues revolves around music with special emphasis is on the Jazz and blues form of singing. The atmosphere and the ambience is towards earthy, non glossy / glittery, dimly lit shop floor with brick tile clad walls in interesting patterns. The feature of the place is the glass at the entrance as an attempt to exemplify the conception and the eventual form of blues. Also as you enter down the ramp passing the disc jockey cubicle set inside a piano (Another feature of visual interest). The leads you to the heart of the place, which has glass panel ceiling engraved with names of the legendary singers, exactly above the wooden floor, adding on to the ambience. Regent Blues has not been a miser when it comes to assigning space to the bar for the restaurant, the idea was clear the entire scheme revolves around the bar and the music. The cocktails have been painstakingly worked out on the names of legendary singers, their albums, and their songs, (Muddy Water, Bad Axe, Howlin Wolf, Dust my broom, Hoochie Coochie Man, Part time lover) to name a few. The cuisine is evident of the effort and camaraderie put into it. The idea was to work on something that goes with the drinks, can be in the form of both a snack as well as a meal should take care of not just one type of customer. It has been chosen with special consideration for the tourist and the diplomat crowd of Delhi. It has large variety of American continental, Asian, Mexican, Italian & grilled food. We are also doing special theme nights for different days of the week. On Thursday we have Rock night which started at 9.00 P.M. in the evening. On Sunday we have Retro night (music of early 70’s & 80’s) So, if, till this moment in time, your idea of a time out has been multifarious, varying with friends, family and business associates, “BLUES” is here to assuage and be the elixir.
