  • My family and I (3 adulta + 1 infant) were at Ambience Mall last week and were looking for a fine-dine experience to celebrate an occassion. Our main considerations for choosing a place that evening were: - A relaxed ambience where we could spend about 2 hours undisturbed. - Try something different from regular North Indian food - Try a new restaurant All of the above ruled out other restauarants in vicinity - Punjab Grill, FrescCo, Indijoe etc. So we were left with Asia 7. And we were not at all disappointed with our choice. We were little early than the start time of dinner buffet. The girl at the reception was courteous and offered us to show around the buffet counter. It was good to know what we should expect, even before we made a choice to sit there. The restaurant was practically empty and we chose a quite corner. However the infant among us, didn't like the place, and our request to change the seat was promptly addressed. It was somewhat hot that day (inside the restaurant??), so on request they turned the pedestal fan in our direction which was a big relief. Coming to food - 2 of us are vegetarians, and 1 non vegetarian. Given that its an oriental cuisine restaurant, there was enough variety of Vegetarian starters and maincourse. There was quite good Non Vegetarian variety also, though I am told - Sushi could have been better. The buffet spread was decent, and was re-filled promptly. Soups and desserts were also fine. 1-2 desserts (forgot the name), were in particular very good. The wait staff was efficient and courteous. In about an hour, the place had become quite crowded, but that did not effect the food availabilty or staff efficiency. The ambience is calm, soothing and relaxed - just what we wanted. The place is rather dark and done up in hues of red (Chinese!!) and wood- which people may like / dislike depending on their flair. What we did not like - The airconditioning did seem to be efficient enough for that day. We asked for a carry bag, which they did not have. Overall, I would recommend this place, if you are in particular looking to eat oriental cuisine. However you may be better off at one of the adjoining restaurants (all in same price range) from a sheer variety perspective.

  • The words "South East Asian' and "Buffet' generally raise a lot of skepticism – these cuisines require great expertise when presented in a buffet format. For most places (and I speak out of experience!) – they spell disaster. So when I organized an 80 people corporate lunch at Asia 7 sometime back, there was a lot of apprehension. But I must say Asia 7 did a fantastic job. The food: spread, ingredient quality, presentation, temperature, live snack counter, was very well appreciated by all our guests. They made a lot of changes to the seating arrangement; the menu etc upon request and the staff was most friendly and professional. Highly recommended for personal / office party / corporate luncheons!! Enjoy!

  • Did not go with too much feedback about the food. Had seen the place many times but finally went for a buffet meal. The spread was tremendous. Although must admit the vegetarians had a bit of less options. The food was simply great. Normally an oriental buffet spread can be very cold/ stale etc but this one was anything but that. Great soup- starters fresh and amazing main course items. The staff on top of it was extremely courteous and always there to serve hotportions of any starters / maincourse. I think the food is highly recomended given the quality and service standards. the Green Thai curry-vegetables was simply to die for. regards
