I was pleasantly surprised when Fresco opened on Janpath a few months ago, as the only place I had seen it before was in Madrid. I have been a regular patron over the past few months, and was initially very impressed with their wonderful food, brilliant service, and reasonable prices. In fact I wondered how long it would last...turns out not very long at all...they raised their prices by 20%, the food has gone downhill, and the service is not what it used to be. Basically after the initial enthusiasm of the restaurant opening they have become smug and cocky and have developed the usual contempt for the customer which marks the hospitality sector in Delhi. I was once their biggest fan, but with so many other great restaurants in the city I will not be wasting my time at this place anymore.
